Typ objektu - Tunely, umiestnenie v mape.

Tunel vybudovali na prepravu medi do Kremnice. Má však aj bohatú vojenskú históriu. V roku 1703 ním utekal cisársky generál z Banskej Bystrice do Bojníc, v roku 1764 ním prešiel rímsky kráľ, v roku 1849 prešla tunelom armáda plukovníka Aulicka, v roku 1944 ním počas Slovenského národného povstania prepravili zlatý poklad z Kremnice do Banskej Bystrici a od roku 1955 do roku 1996 bol zasypaný.
